It's easier said than done to like people when you pour your heart into a piece of music and all they can do is complain about the volume on the kickdrum.

9 out of 10 times, i'm sure i'd be better off by not ever letting anyone hear my music. What a load of crap it is to have your heart torn in two over some other asshole's musical preferences.

How can you put your heart into something that adheres to the rules of a given genre? How are genres compatible with heart in any possible way?
What a fucking waste. It's like the quality of production is in any way detrimental to a piece of music.

We live in technologist jerk circle days, when the asshole who spends a week cutting the living fat from his music gets more cred than the artist that will literally put tears on vinyl. What a fucking waste.
